Job Description

The engineer is involved the design and implementation primarily Java based systems focused on NoSQL, Batch and Messaging (ActiveMQ, AMQP, Kafka and MQTT).  They may be called to support and triage for existing implementation of existing systems based.  They will be required to create of prototypes to be leveraged across multiple development teams.  The will be required to test and new patterns, frameworks and technologies as part of the technology roadmap.
Tech. Req.

         10+ years of experience designing and building applications.
         Experience with object-oriented software development methodologies and practices.
         Significant coding experience (8+ years) with Java.
         Experience developing libraries, frameworks or scalable services.
         Understanding of web technologies like HTTP, CGI, servlets.
         Understanding of asynchronous message oriented protocols like AMQP, STOMP, 0MQ.
         Experience developing highly concurrent, parallel asynchronous systems
         Experience working with high volume transaction processing.
         Experience with messaging systems such a ActiveMQ, Apache Qpid, Proton and Kafka.
         Experience in NoSQL such as Cassandra and Couchbase
         Familiarity with concurrent development frameworks such as LMAX Disruptor, RXJava and Spring Reactor.
         Familiarity general frameworks such as Spring, Camel and Spring Integration
         Experience with Log4J and SLF4J.
Familiarity with Git preferred.
