The Role
Bloomberg's Global Tech group is looking to hire a technology reporter in Bangalore to cover India's innovation hub. This reporter will lead coverage of Indian tech stalwarts like Infosys and Tata Consultancy, e-commerce companies like Flipkart and the growing startup and venture capital community in what is suddenly the world's most promising young Internet market. This reporter will also have an ear for cultural stories about how mobile phones and Internet access are changing lives in cities and rural communities that were very until recently cut off from the developed world.
The Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of three years in journalism, preferably with a focus on business
- Experience working in a real-time news environment
