Purple Squirrel is a young company that is addressing India's education problem with a unique experiential learning model. We are a strong team of 100+ people, and are backed by Matrix VP, India Quotient and SINE (IIT Bombay).

In building an ecosystem that combines offline and online learning experiences to improve industry-readiness of graduates, we have partnered with 500+ companies and 150+ colleges pan India, and have delivered over 8000 student experiences.

AS A BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE, you would

• Understand the wide variety of clientele and prioritize targets accordingly
• Analyzing and tracking the particular sector to identify latest trends & opportunities  
• Conduct thorough research on sub-segments / Institutes by using the internal databases as well as public sources
• Negotiate with the client and adjust the demand and supply to mutual benefit
• Manage end-to-end client relationship including pitching, negotiation and troubleshooting
• Coordinate with other departments within the organization to cater to client needs
• Design and implement initiatives which result in a superior consumer experience
• Perform customer retention functions

Desired Skills and Experience

• 1-3 years of work experience in business development/sales
• Proven track record of achieving revenue targets
• Demonstrating the ability to function independently
• Relevant regional knowledge from having lived/worked in the region
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong work ethics and comfortable with travelling
