Army Recruitment Rally conducts Indian Army Nadia Dist.
Soldier General Duty

Qualification: Matric pass with min 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject except optional subject. Candidates having higher qualification 10+2 or more, need not having 45% mark in matric.

Age : 17 ½ - 21 Yrs

Soldier General Duty (Schedule Tribe /Adivasi)

Qualification:8 th class pass or higher Qualification. 8 th class pass candidates will carry birth certificate issued by Registrar of Birth & Death of respective district as proof of date of birth and Transfer certificate and mark sheet signed by District Inspector of School (DIS) is mandatory.

Age : 17 ½ - 21 Yrs

Sol Tdn (Except House Keeper, & Mess Keeper)

Qualification:Minimum 10th class simple pass.

Age : 17 ½ - 23 Yrs

Sol Tdn (House Keeper &, Mess Keeper only)

Qualification: 8 th class pass or higher Qualification. 8th class pass candidates will carry birth certificate issued by Registrar of Birth & Death of respective district as proof of date of birth and Transfer certificate and mark sheet signed by District Inspector of School (DIS)/ District Education Officer (DEO) is mandatory.

Age : 17 ½ - 23 Yrs

Soldier Technical

Qualification:(i) 10+2 pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with minimum 45% marks in aggregate. OR 10th class pass with min 50% marks in aggregate if 3 years Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electronics/Electricals /Automobiles/Computer Science) from an AICTE recognized Polytechnic institute. (ii) Subject taken as ‘ALTERNATE ENGLISH’ by the candidate will not be accepted.

Age : 17 ½ - 23 Yrs

Soldier Technical (Amn/Avn)

Qualification:(i) 10+2 pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with 50% marks in aggregate and minimum 40% marks in each subject. OR 10th class pass with min 50% marks in aggregate if 3 years Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electronics/ Electricals/ Automobiles /Computer Science) from an AICTE recognized Polytechnic institute. (ii) Subject taken as ‘ALTERNATE ENGLISH’ by the candidate will not be accepted.

Age : 17 ½ - 23 Yrs


Soldier Clerk/ Store Keeper Technical

(i) Should have secured 40% marks in each subject and 50% marks in aggregate in class XII. (ii) Should have studied English and Math/Accts/Book keeping in class XII or Class X. Should have secured min 40% marks in each subject, whether it was studied in class XII or Class X. (iii) If candidate is a graduate(any field) with Maths/Acct/Book Keeping and English (even elective) as one of the subjects. The stipulation of scoring 40% marks in Math/English in class X or XII and scoring 50% marks in aggregate in class XII is waived off. (iv) If candidate is a graduate but not having English and Maths/Accts/Book Keeping at graduate level, he should have scored minimum 40% marks in English and Maths/Accts/Book Keeping at least once in Class X or Class XII. Subject taken as ‘ALTERNATE ENGLISH’ by the candidate will not be accepted.

About Indian Army (Nadia Govt.)

After independence, the Ministry of Defence was created under the charge of a Cabinet Minister and each Service was placed under its own Commander-in-Chief. In 1955, the Commanders-in-Chief were renamed as the Chief of the Army Staff, the Chief of the Naval Staff and the Chief of the Air Staff. In November 1962, the Department of Defence Production was set up to deal with research, development and production of defence equipment. In November, 1965, the Department of Defence Supplies was created for planning and execution of schemes for import substitution of defence requirements. These two Departments were later merged to form the Department of Defence Production and Supplies. In 2004, the name of Department of Defence Production and Supplies was changed to Department of Defence Production. In 1980, the Department of Defence Research and Development was created. In 2004, the Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare was created. The Defence Secretary functions a head of the Department of Defence and is additionally responsible for co-ordinating the activities of the four Departments in the Ministry.
