Age Limit:- The age of the candidates applying for the position of Sub-Inspector should not less than 21 years and should not more than 26 years.
Qualification:- candidates applying for the position of Sub-Inspector should have any degree from a university recognized by UGC or equivalent.
Selection Procedure:- Selection of the candidates applying for the position of Sub-Inspector will be on the basis of written Examination / Physical standard examination and Personal Interview.

Age Relaxation:- The upper age limit of the candidates applying for the position of Sub-Inspector is relaxable for the following specified categories to the extent indicated below.
i) By 2 years for candidates belonging to ST communities.
ii) By 2 years for candidates belonging to SC communities.
iii) By 2 years for candidates belonging to CAT – I communities.
iv) By 2 years for candidates belonging to 2A communities.
v) By 2 years for candidates belonging to 2B communities.
vi) By 2 years for candidates belonging to 3A communities.
vii) By 2 years for candidates belonging to 3B communities.

Application Fee:- Interested and eligible candidates applying for the position of Sub-Inspector are required to pay application fee Rs 250/- for general category candidates / 2A category candidates / 2B category candidates / 3A category candidates / 3B category candidates and Rs 100/- for Schedule caste category candidates (SCT) / Schedule tribe category candidates (ST). Payment of application should be made in state bank of Mysore (SBM) / State bank of Hyderabad SGH) only. Candidates have to fill the application and generate the challan and make the payment in the respective bank.
