Manager – Events and Special Projects
The Retail Jeweller
 
Small team, big ideas.
The Manager -  Events and Special Projects will lead and manage our high-visibility B2B events, from conception to planning to execution to team management to budget reconciliation to ROI tracking, and align them with Organization marketing strategy and business goals.
 
Events will include
  1. Retail Jeweller India Forum (Annually Once)
  2. Retail Jeweller International Trendsetters (Annually Once)
  3. Retail Jeweller India Awards, Mumbai (Annually Once)
  4. Mumbai Jewellery Festival, (Annually Once)
Special Projects will include
  1. National TV Series on prestigious Jewellery Collection
  2. Training of Store Managers and Sales Staff 
  3. Activation of New Categories in the Jewellery industry
Marketing will include
  1. Organization’s Online and Event Websites
  2. Organization and Event Social Media – FB, Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin
  3. Emailers, SMS and Whattsapp plan, content, execution
 
  • This role will have direct reports of two Marketing and Event Executives. We win as a team.
  • Drive and lead the team towards high performance and timely achievement of short term and long term goals.
  • Client servicing of all clients linked to all these 3 areas of work.
  • Develop creative and innovative event strategy in collaboration with the Directors, team and stakeholders.
  • Create event marketing plans, presentations, executive communications, and other deliverables.
  • Manage and be held accountable for vendors, contracts, production schedules, and budgets.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and execute multiple events with competing priorities.
  • Build and Maintain a high performance culture in the division.
  • Evaluate event performance, post-event ROI tracking, and wrap-up reports to Sponsors, Internal Stakeholders.
  • Be an active and contributing member in our Organizational creative think tank.
  • Build excellent relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Keep educated on the latest technologies, especially those applicable for events and marketing.
  • Keep a global view of things for future projects concepts, come up with new ideas, look for interesting forward looking event / experiential concepts happening around the world and which can either be incorporated in our current projects or can be thought to be done as New Projects.
