Account Program Manager, Google Access

Job description

With the Google Access team, you’ll work on cross-product and cross-team initiatives, working closely with cross-functional team members to refine and evolve our projects, as well as deploy new technologies to markets and communities around the globe. You like being on-the-ground, executing complex projects that bring internet access to people.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic partner relationships and programs within Google.
• Perform program reviews for projects with partner companies to ensure program goals are met.
• Align program requirements and perform change management with partners. Represent partner's voice internally to project team.
• Manage issues and work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
• Serve as the India escalation point for our external partners and coordinate efforts with all of the internal stakeholders across the globe.

Minimum qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience with telecommunication networks, wireless technologies or deployment of mobile/fixed line networks.
• Experience with strategic account management and/or program management.

Preferred qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering, Science or Computer Science.
• Experience with Wi-Fi and IP networks.
• Working experience with government, public sector in India.
• Ability to work well in a global cross-functional team environment.
• Project management, organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills. Strong communication skills and ability to speak to business stakeholders.
• Comfortable speaking multiple Indian languages.
