Our global network of top-tier specialists delivers comprehensive services over the full life cycle of a project to benefit clients in government and private industries.Job SummaryAs Chief Environmental & Health Expert to perform the following tasks:
• Manage the health, safety and environment policy of the project in accordance with Contract documents of project Contractors, international standards and best practices.
• Contribute in preparation/finalization of Safety, Health and Environmental Manual.
• Review and update the EIA and EMP issues/report.
• Enforce the provisions of Safety and Health Manual of the project.
• Ensure that a proper Hazard Analysis has been done by each Project contractor duly identifying the potential risks and mitigation measures have been identified and implemented
• Review each Civil package environmental submissions to make sure that Civil contractors prepare and submit a Site Environmental Management Plan specific to the activities that are likely to be carried out in the Civil package, listing out the likely environmental impacts and environmental measures to mitigate the adverse impacts, monitoring of various environmental attributes including the parameter monitored and the frequency of monitoring, details of the monitoring agency engaged, reporting format etc.
• Prepare monthly Environmental Reports, consolidating the monthly reports received from all the civil packages.
• Attend meetings with MEGA and contractors and other stake holders.
• Perform day to day safety inspection/checks and audits at the works sites and issue NCR for non-conformance and unsafe act.
• Contribute in preparation/finalization of Safety, Health and Environmental Manual.
• Contribute in planning the training for O&M staff of MEGA.
• Any other task or responsibility which is stated or intended as per TOR contained in RFP for GC services.
• Ensuring compliance with quality assurance requirements and compliance of ISO Documentation/Reports. 
• Responsible for day-to-day activities, reports, budgeting and optimal capacity utilization of resources. 
• Coordinating and following up with client to ensure progress as per the agreed scope and overall project schedule.
