Job Description

Job Background/context:

• The position is to fulfill a need within Securities and Funds services in GIMBA


• The candidate will be responsible for developing solutions while adhering to architecture standards defined for common components/continuous flows and batch ETL in Ab Initio


• The candidate should be technically proficient in data warehousing and ETL concepts and should have a strong background in ETL space


• The candidate should have exposure to requirements gathering


• Working out designs and preparing technical design documents

Knowledge/Experience:


Skills Required

• 4-6 years in a Senior Developer role with experience on implementing large and complex projects


• Should have worked in Banking Domain and data warehousing experience is a must


• The candidate should have very strong technical experience in the areas of data analysis, ETL and, data warehousing experience


• Strong Ab Initio expertise in using continuous components and Conduct>It


• Exposure in handling XML’s is an added advantage


• The candidate should have strong Oracle and UNIX experience


• Non-technical knowledge, experience, and skills(leadership, management, oral and/or written communication, etc.):


• Due to the high visibility of the position, the candidate must possess superior communication skills as they will be interacting with people with diverse skills and seniority


• The sometimes ambiguous environment means that the candidate should also be experienced with multitasking and balancing tasks with priorities accordingly


• The person has to be results-oriented; willing and able to take ownership of engagements


• The candidate should have strong analytical skills


• The candidate should be a team player

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (in science, computers, information technology or engineering)


• Candidate should be willing to work late in the evening India time on need basis in order to interact with US onshore team and to meet urgent requests by clients
