SRF Microbiology recruitment in ICAR- Indian Institute Of Oilseeds Research on temporary basis /1 Post
Project Title : “Development of practicable technologies for field level exploitation of broad spectrum biocontrol agents for amelioration of biotic/abiotic stresses in crops
Essential Qualification: M.Sc. (Agriculture) in Plant pathology/Microbiology with 4/5 years of Bachelor’s Degree Or Post Graduation in Life Sciences. Candidates having Post Graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s Degree should have NET qualification. Having two years of research experience
Desirable Qualification: Experience on techniques related to biological control of plant pathogens soil microbiology, qualifications of biomolecules produced by bioagents, hands on exposure to chromatography, spectroscopy, electrophoresis, PCR etc., techniques
Emoluments: Rs.25000/- + 30% HRA per month
Age limit : 35 years for men and 40 years for women

About ICAR- Indian Institute Of Oilseeds Research

 The Indian Institute of Oilseeds Research (IIOR) formerly operating as All India Coordinated Research Project on Oilseeds(AICORPO) came into existence on August 1, 1977 with the Headquarters at Rajendranagar, Hyderabad. It operated with a Project Director as its administrative head and seven Project Coordinators for groundnut, rapeseed-mustard, sesame, linseed , castor, safflower, sunflower and niger. Subsequently, groundnut and rapeseed-mustard were delinked from the Directorate with the establishment of National Research Centre for each of these crops during 1979 and 1993 respectively. In April 2000, the AICRP on Sesame & Niger and Linseed have been separated from the administrative control of IIOR. The Directorate has in its fold the mandate of working on castor, safflower and sunflower.
