Overview
Develop and lead SapientNitro’s Data Analytics & Optimization Centre of Excellence (COE) in India. The COE will help support the development of data analytics services including SEO, analytics enablement (tagging), dashboards, standard/custom report creation, optimisation and be-spoke analysis. The specific objectives of this role includes the following activities:Managing and enhancing the core offerings of the COE in partnership with the Global Analytics lead and the regional analytics leads across NA/EU/APAC
Build strong partnerships with local office analytics leads – North America, Europe and APAC
Crafting the processes, templates, approaches that will support the core offerings
Leading, nurturing and growing a high-performance team to cater to global demand
Developing and executing on-going training and management to ensure quality deliver across the analytics key deliverables.
Lead the hiring, on-boarding and training of staff. Maintain and improve staff retention rates.
Raise the profile of the Sapient Analytics offering within the Indian market so that is viewed as a leader amongst our competitors, thus making it easier to attract new clients and recruit and retain staff

About Sapient Consulting Ltd
Engineering Bachelor’s degree with an MBA/MCA/M.S degree14+ years’ work experience with at least 8 years in the analytics space.
Should have led teams of size 50 or more including managing senior people with 10 plus years of experience
At least 5 years of hands-on experience in the digital analytics space with an in-depth knowledge of the domain having worked on tools like Adobe Analytics (key partner), Google Analytics, tag management solutions
Experience with predictive analytics solutions using tools like SAS/SPSS/R/Python is highly preferred
Knowledge of large scale (big data) data engineer and management platforms
Extremely good communication skills
Proven expertise in negotiations and execution working in a globally distributed team environment
Knowledge of technical architecture and database design
Experience within business intelligence domain and enterprise BI platforms
Excellent analytical and problem solving ability

Major Activities
Centre of Excellence Development and Management
· Develop core offerings including template development, reporting processes and quality assurance approaches
· Hire and Mentor junior colleagues in marketing analytics
· Stay abreast of new marketing analytics methods and techniques
· Work collaboratively with analytic team and clients to understand and document reporting requirements, providing solution options and recommendations consistent with business requirements.
· Develops process of reporting design and configuration tasks, including but not limited to: report authoring, data and metadata modelling, and template design
· Provides ongoing support to data analysts by performing investigative analysis related to issues regarding data quality, application performance and access, and correct usage of data.
· Develops and continuously optimize training materials and “plug and play” collateral for the scope of services in marketing analytics
· Guide and monitor development of client deliverables across marketing analytics team
· Develop a plan to evolve the skill set of the team from reporting into more insight delivery for clients
Analytic lead for Identified Client Reporting and Analytics
· Serve as engagement partner for key, large accounts, connecting with data or account lead
· Define best practices and/or standards that are used across engagements
· Develop frameworks for consistent, repeatable and scalable marketing analytics offering
· Create reporting frameworks for overall marketing efforts, enterprise measurement platforms, or analytics strategies
· Apply business and technical requirements potentially using internal client methodologies and tools
· Apply technical solutions for business requirements
· Communicate constantly with internal teams throughout the engagement, escalating important issues where needed
· Fully understand and document customer requests, and assign appropriate resources to resolve any issues
· Provide technical leadership to the project team by taking responsibility for specific reporting components and track the project evolution. This includes planning, estimation, people management, issue resolution and quality assurance.
· Preparing and presenting status updates for assigned tasks/projects
· Provide strategic direction on data analysis with large scale measurement and reporting platforms such as Omniture, WebTrends,etc
Product Evolution and Thought Leadership
· Review project requests from clients to determine how to implement using established processes and best practices, or scope production requirements for custom projects.
· Collaboratively expand process and approach to develop current and future best practices in data analytics production. This includes use of BI tools, data visualization tools, or other data integration functions
· Utilizes the deliverables from other projects to create efficiencies and scale
Business Development
· Participate as a core data leadership team member in the internal engagement process in order to facilitate the selling and the implementation of the production offerings in collaboration with the Analytics team and account leads
· Participates in business development activities and client proposals
· Generate demand for marketing analytics services through building awareness of offering and marketing offering with new and existing clients
Client and Stakeholder Management
· Cultivate client relationships as needed.
