The objective of the program is to create a pool of multi-skilled, job ready professionals that can contribute to the growing business needs of a dynamic organization like HDFC Bank.

HDFC Bank has appointed FOSTIIMA Integrated Learning Resources Pvt. Ltd. [FILR] to source, short-list, select and train candidates and to make them job ready before joining HDFC Bank as Relationship Managers.
The Relationship Manager Job
The Relationship Manager is located in a branch of HDFC Bank and performs a Sales and Customer Service oriented role. The RMis the one point contact for all requirements of High Net Worth customers in the branch.

Purpose of the job

Enhancement and deepening of the existing relationship by cross-selling products and services as per the profile and need of HNI customers. Retention of the customers by providing the best possible services and being the dedicated point of contact for these customers. Business development across all product segments - Current / Saving accounts, Asset products - Credit cards, Loan products and third party products like Insurance and Mutual Funds.
Responsibilities

Managing the High Net Worth customers of the Bank. Achieving the Business targets assigned in terms of cross selling, enhancing and upgrading the High Net Worth relationships. Profiling Customers and provide financial products to meet customer needs. Ensuring the highest levels of service to the High Net Worth customers. Providing Financial Planning and Investment Advice. Targets spread across Liabilities, Retail Assets, Business Banking, Forex, Credit Cards, On-line trading etc. One point contact for all requirements of High Net Worth customers in the Branch. Acquisition & servicing of High Net Worth customers.
Desired skill-set

Knowledge of the Banking Industry and Financial Markets. Good Relationship Management & Service Focus skills. Excellent Communication, Presentation Skills, Interpersonal & Influencing Skills. Should have good knowledge of Liability Products. Should have a good knowledge of Third Party Products like Mutual Funds, Insurance.
Compensation: Rs. 4 – 10 lakhs p.a. fixed (based on candidate profile and work experience). Candidates can additionally earn quarterly incentive.

Eligibility

Qualification : Post graduates preferably MBA / PGDBM or CA or ICWA Consistent Academics: Marks 50% or above in 10th, 12th, Graduation & Post-Graduation Experience: 0-3 years
The Selection Process
Step 1: Candidates apply to FILR – submit resumes to FILR / up-load resumes on the FILR site and also provide details in an excel format.
Step 2: FILR screens resumes and shortlists suitable candidates.
Step 3: Candidates appear at an on-line Aptitude Test [Test cost of Rs. 500/- to be borne by the candidate].
Step 4: Candidates who clear the Aptitude Test undergo 1st round of screening interview by FILR.
Step 5: Candidates who clear the 1st round undergo a final interview by HDFC Bank staff in Delhi.
Step 6: Candidates selected in the final interview receive Conditional Offer Letter from HDFC Bank.
Step 7: Selected candidates undergo 2 month training at FILR, New Delhi.
Step 8: Candidates who successfully complete the training after clearing all certifications and examinations will be placed as a Relationship Manager with HDFC Bank.

The Training

The objective of the program is to create job ready professionals for the role of Relationship Manager in HDFC Bank. To achieve this objective, the selected candidates shall undergo a 2 month full time classroom-training at FILR, New Delhi where the candidates would be trained using an exhaustive Retail Banking curriculum with specific focus on Banking & Finance, Banking Services & Operations, HDFC Bank Products and Systems, Mutual Funds & Insurance, Soft skills viz. Communication, Sales Training, Customer Management, Computer skills, etc. This rigorous classroom training is augmented through the use of banking simulations, real life case studies and role-plays, thus preparing the candidate to handle their job responsibilities effectively from the very first day of taking up the Relationship Manager position.

The salient features of the Training are:
Duration: 2 month full time training at FILR, New Delhi. Trainers certified by HDFC Bank. Joint Certification by HDFC Bank and FILR. Candidate will receive a stipend of Rs. 30,000 post completion of the training program, as per the prevalent bank policy. Candidate to bear the training cost of Rs. 34,000 + service tax. Educational loans for the Relationship Manager program will be organized by HDFC Bank for selected candidates. Candidate to make own arrangement for stay during the training or FILR can make arrangement for the stay at cost.
Joining HDFC Bank as Relationship Manager

Candidates successfully clearing all certifications and examinations will be placed as a Relationship Manager with HDFC Bank. Compensation: Rs. 4 – 10 lakhs p.a. fixed (based on candidate profile and work experience). Candidates can additionally earn quarterly incentive.
