MES recruitment 2015 notification 480 Semi Skilled posts : Military Engineer Services (MES), applications are invited from eligible candidates in the prescribed application format as per Annexure “I” for the under mentioned group C posts from Indian citizens as declared eligible by the government of India, Minister of defense. Military Engineer Services (MES) invites application for the position of 480 semi – skilled male candidates in various trades. Apply before 31^st December 2015.

Age Limit:- The age of the candidates applying for the position of male semi – skilled should not less than 18 years and should not more than 27 years. The crucial date for determining the age limit shall be closing date for receipt of application form all candidates in India (and not the closing date prescribed for those in Assam / Meghalaya / Arunachal Pradesh / Mizoram / Manipur / Nagaland / Tripura / Sikkim / Ladakh division of Jammu and Kashmir state / Lahaul and Spiti district and Pangi sub division of Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh / A and N Islands and Lakshadweep.
Qualification:- candidates applying for the position of male semi – skilled should have matriculation from a recognized board and industrial training institute pass certificate from a recognized institute in Electrician / board based basic training electric / mechanical auto electrical and electronics.
Selection Procedure:- Selection of the candidates applying for the position of will male semi – skilled be on the basis of written Exam and Personal Interview depending on the number of applications received.
Age Relaxation:- The upper age limit of the candidates applying for the position of male semi – skilled is relaxable for the following specified categories to the extent indicated below.
i) By 5 years for candidates belonging to ST communities.
ii) By 5 years for candidates belonging to SC communities.
iii) By 3 years for candidates belonging to OBC communities.
