Job DescriptionAs Vice President Sales (Media/Magazine) you are responsible for maximising advertising revenues from media agencies and clients through proactive sales activities, PAN India.
Key Responsibilities:
- Expand and maintain advertising base
- Identify opportunities for growth and new business
- Build strong relationships with key contacts from media agencies, maintaining a high level of contact via the telephone, email and meetings
- Adapt unique and relevant sales presentations & proposals to each sales opportunity to achieve the advertisers’ objectives while increasing market share
- Generate advertising revenues in both publishing and online formats, ensuring all bookings are followed up and recorded accurately
- Achieve sales and creative targets set by Business Development Director
- An ability to understand a market and create new ideas to maximise revenue potential
- Working with Business Development Director to devise sales strategies to ensure effective planning
- Proactive sales prospecting and lead generation
- Report accurately on business prospects in sales meetings and to Business Development Director
- Forecasting knowledge and the ability to manage an assigned budget
