VIT University - Job Details

Project Assistant Biotechnology job position in VIT University
Title of the Project : "Biomaterial library construction by tuning the functionality of proteins for Biomedical applications." 
Qualification : M.Sc. in Chemistry / Biochemistry / Biotechnology. Desirable : Candidate with good theoretical knowledge on electronic spectroscopy and hands of experience in Molecular Biology techniques like PCR, Cloning, DNA isolation, Protein expression and purification, etc. 
Stipend: Rs. 16,000/- + 20 % HRA (for first two years) and Rs. 18,000/- + 20 % HRA (for third year) per month. 
Nature of Appointment : Purely on a temporary basis for a period of 3 Year, with a possibility to register for Ph.D. 
Sponsoring Agency : DST-SERB (Young Scientist Start-up Research Grant Scheme), Government of India. 
Duration : Three year
