Diploma Trainee (Electrical)/ Junior Technician Trainee (Electrical) recruitment for Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.
POWERGRID, Western/ Northern Region Interconnector Project - Champa (Western Region Transmission System-I) is looking for Bright, Committed and Energetic persons to join its fold as Diploma Trainee (Electrical)and Junior Technician Trainee (Electrical)

Diploma Trainee (Electrical) - SDT/ Total: 05 (UR-03,OBC (NCL)- 01,SC-01)

Qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering from recognized Technical Board/ Institute with minimum 70% marks for GEN/ OBC(NCL) candidates and Pass marks for SC/ST/PwD (HHPD).

Stipend : Rs.16,500/- per month during training period. On successful completion of training to be regularized as Junior Engineer Gr-IV (S1) in the Pay Scale : Rs. 16000 – 35500


Junior Technician Trainee (Electrical) /Total: 07 (UR-03, OBC (NCL)-02,SC- 01,ST- 01)

Qualification: ITI (Electrical) pass in Electrician trade from a recognized Technical Board/ Institute.

Stipend : Rs. 11,000/- per month during training period. On successful completion of training to be regularized as Junior Technician (W3) in the Pay Scale : Rs. 11500 – 26000

Upper Age limit as on 28.12.2015: 27 yrs

Selection Procedure:

Diploma Trainee (Electrical) Written Test & Personal Interview

Junior Technician Trainee (Electrical) Written Test, Trade Test & Personal Interview

Written Test shall be held at the following centers: Nagpur /Pune / Raipur

Service Agreement Bond :Diploma Trainee (Electrical) Rs.50000 for General/ OBC(NCL) Rs.25,000 for SC/ST/ PwD 2 Junior Technician Trainee (Electrical) Rs.25,000 for General/ OBC(NCL) Rs.12000/- for SC/ST/ PwD .

Application Fee: Candidates belonging other than SC/ST/PwD/Ex-SM/ Departmental Candidates category are required to pay a non-refundable Registration fee as follows:

Diploma Trainee (Electrical) Rs.300 +Bank Charges Rs. 60

Junior Technician Trainee (Electrical) Rs. 200/- +Bank Charges Rs. 60 .The last date of submission of application fees shall also be indicated on the challan i.e. 31.12.2015.
