Job description

Position Summary

The Program Manager, Bangalore Employee Programs will work on the Corporate Responsibility team and be in a support role for a variety of CR employee involvement and philanthropy programs.
 
Responsibilities:
Drive engagement in Corporate Responsibility programs in Bangalore including CR Action Teams, Pro Bono Initiative, Employee Community Fund, and Youth Coding Initiative. Responsibilities would include:
  • Lead the implementation of global CR programs in Bangalore
  • Innovate ways to implement programs and engage employees in Bangalore and India
  • Coordinate with other regional CR leads on the implementation of regional and global programs
  • Actively participate with US based CR team on global CR strategy planning and direction
  • Recruit and collaborate with Action Team Lead and Champions to plan local strategy and activities
  • Manage communications to Bangalore employees regarding CR employee programs
  • Drive local participation in three annual corporate campaigns
  • Manage Youth Coding Initiative activities in partnership with Education Champion including recruitment and communications
  • Manage Pro Bono Initiative projects in partnership with Talent Champion including recruitment and project management
  • Support Green Champion on local sustainability programming
  • Provide guidance to Community Champion throughout Employee Community Fund cycle
  • Maintain shared resources and distribution lists for CR team
  • Track and report internally on program participation levels
  • Other tasks as required

Key responsibilities

Requirements:
  • 5+ years experience in the Corporate Responsibility field
  • In-depth understanding of the scope and purpose of CR programs
  • Proven success as a proactive problem solver and a positive, collaborative team contributor
  • Ability to be an active part of an internationally based team
  • Analytical and organized by nature
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Proven communications skills
